BpTRU's proven oscillometric technology advances the science of blood pressure measurement for every clinician's office. Our family of monitors:

  • Automatically calibrate to atmospheric pressure and ambient temperature before each measurement
  • Remove errors due to difficulty in detecting Korotkoff sounds
  • Automatically inflate above systolic and ensure full arterial occlusion
  • Accurately identify diastolic pressures by deflating at a smooth linear rate of 4mmHg per second to below the 5th Korotkoff sound
  • Eliminate rounding errors and reader bias with bright, bold digital readings to 1mmHg, allowing a precise diagnosis

Our system is the solution
The 'white coat effect', the experience of being made anxious by the presence of a doctor or simply being in a healthcare facility, is a serious concern when attempting to take accurate blood pressure measurements.

In one study, over 70% of patients diagnosed with hypertension exhibited a 'white coat' effect. In addition, even normal activities, such as talking, can elevate systolic and diastolic blood pressure measurements by as much as 7mmHg or more.

BpTRU Has Been Shown to Combat the 'White Coat Effect':

  • Automatically discards the first reading, then averages the remaining results
